Yolanda is professional, very pleasant to work with, and very knowledgeable in the El Dorado Hills and Folsom area. She helped our family find and close a home in a matter of four weeks in this red hot market in 2021. She first took the time to understand our needs and what exactly we are looking for in our next home, features, pricing, neighborhood and pricing. We collaboratively shortlisted 14 homes to view over two days and she organized the schedule that was manageable. Her recommendation along the way helped us narrowed down from 14 homes to three and from there, provide us with strategy to decide which home to put an offer in. Her relentless follow up with the various seller's agents helped us in that narrowing down process tremendously. Without her guidance, we will likely still be bidding for houses six weeks later. From the time we first met, Yolanda was extremely professional. She took the time to get to know me and my wife including our likes/dislikes and spent countless hours explaining the buying process, answering our questions, and managing all the anxiety that comes with such a big purchase. Trying to buy a home from a hundred miles away is no easy task . . . unless you are lucky enough to have Yolanda as your agent. I have read all the other reviews that have been posted and I couldn’t agree more. Yolanda was professional, friendly, caring, knowledgeable, and worked incredibly hard for us. From winning the bid to the close was an incredibly short two weeks. Yolanda managed to get us all the required inspections, home owners’ insurance and answers to a thousand questions. When an inspection raised concerns, she insisted we get a second opinion. She wasn’t about to let us buy our forever home without ensuring that all the facts were known so we could make an informed decision. To illustrate how special an agent she is; she once talked us out of buying a home. We had asked her to do a zoom tour of a house that seemed to be everything we wanted. On the inside, it was. But when she stepped out to show us the backyard, she could hear traffic noise from a major street hidden by trees. She practically insisted that we should take a pass. She didn’t think we would enjoy this backyard with that much noise. I found that to be truly amazing – an agent asking us not to buy because she felt we would ultimately be unhappy with the purchase. We felt that the contingency made our offer a weak one and considered increasing our offer amount, but Yolanda knew we were acting on emotions, and she helped us think through the situation clearly. We didn’t end up getting that house and in hindsight, we would have paid more for a house that would have ended up not being as perfect for us as the one we have now. We decided to relocate to Granite Bay from the Bay Area in Spring of 2021. We were lucky enough to be connected with Yolanda (via Zillow) on the very first house we looked at. I would have never imagined that the agent on the other end of a “tour this property” button on Zillow could turn out to be someone as incredible as Yolanda. Relocating (with a toddler and a baby!) is not easy. We couldn’t make the 2.5 hour trip to Granite Bay any time a property of interest came on the market, and in a very hot market, that’s what was necessary. Yolanda was our eyes and our ears, she went to every single property we showed any curiosity in (aside from the few that she assured me didn’t line up with our needs…her uncanny knowledge of neighborhoods and even the smallest details about certain streets was so helpful since we’re new to the area.)
